Colin Fry meets "Mr. Edinburgh Castle" |
Living TV's 6ixth Sense with Colin Fry hits Edinburgh...
-old archive newsThe Edinburgh media, is expressing keen interest in the arrival in Edinburgh of leading psychic medium Colin Fry, of the popular Living TV show 6ixth Sense with Colin Fry. This should come as no surprise, given the appetite that the media and the public in general has for all things paranormal, and the proliferation of Edinburgh ghost tours and paranormal investigations taking place in Edinburgh. A good example of this would be the extensive media coverage afforded to the famous Mackenzie Poltergeist in the graveyard of Edinburgh's Greyfriars Cemetery. After all, Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh's most famous landmark, is reputed to be one of the most haunted spots in Scotland. Edinburgh itself has been called the most haunted city in all of Europe. For example, on various occasions, visitors to the castle have reported a phantom piper, a headless drummer, the spirits of French prisoners from the Seven Years War, colonial prisoners from the American Revolutionary War - even the ghost of a dog wandering in the dog cemetery of Edinburgh Castle.
Colin Fry is due to appear in Edinburgh this week at the Playhouse Theatre. LivingTV is normally the only place where you can see Colin Fry’s "sixth sense" gift at work on a regular basis.
Living TV's 6ixth Sense with Colin Fry opens up the mysterious world of the paranormal and brings it into the bright light of the talk show. Life takes many twists and turns, but Living TV's 6ixth Sense With Colin Fry is the only show that allows people to peek around that last turn to touch the ‘other side’.
So don’t be afraid, make friends with the paranormal this week, and come and experience the wonder of Living TV's 6ixth Sense with Colin Fry!

The meaning of "sixth sense"
Your "sixth sense" is the intuitive feeling that you sometimes have, that tells you that something good or bad is going to happen. We all have five senses - the sense of taste, the sense of hearing, the sense of sight, the sense of smell, and the sense of touch. This "sixth sense" cannot be explained by the other five senses; it is something that cannot be explained by logic. The expression "sixth sense" means the same thing as "gut reaction", or "gut feeling". Your gut feeling about something is your personal or intuitive feeling about something - sixth sense.

Set to Conquer Cuba...
Edinburgh Media is helping to launch the career of Ashley Anne Dow who modelled for Glasgow based Model Team - Scotland's premier modelling agency. Ashley has recently graduated from St. Thomas University in Minneapolis/St. Paul where she was awarded a major in Print Journalism with Media Studies and Political Sciences as a minor. She had been selected, in her final year, by the University to go to Cuba for the advancement of her studies and Ashley is one of the few Americans to have received this opportunity.
Recently Ashley was in Cancun Mexico where she was “cutting her teeth” as a potential travel show presenter, assisting Edinburgh Media while they were scouting locations for an up-coming worldwide travel website. The Edinburgh Media client's brief for the website they were involved with required a unique perspective, as the website will feature various multi-media elements.
One of the features of the website is compact, downloadable film clips highlighting various travel destinations. These are fashioned along the lines of the highly popular weekly BBC travel shows, such as the BBC’s ‘Holiday 2004’ and ITV’s ‘Wish You Were Here...?’. Travelling across the interior, Ashley was amazed by the disparity between those that have, and those who have not, unlike many visiting media veterans, who traditionally emphasise, on their programmes, the side of the country that is the accepted face of tourism.
Her travels took her to Chichen Itza in the centre of the Mexican Yucatan Peninsula, where the famous Mayan Pyramids can be discovered in a large clearing in the jungle. When she was on the summit of the main pyramid (the Temple of Kukulcan) she photographed the uninterrupted vista of greenery which seemed to be endless.
Edinburgh Media can reveal that the raw photographic images and video footage are impressive, and looks forward to the completion of the project.
